Role Description:
This is a a per-diem role for Physical Therapist (working toward part to full time position) at Horseheads Comprehensive PT, Horseheads, NY.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, helping them gain mobility and restore their physical functions.
HCPT has been providing high quality outpatient care to the community for the past 28 yrs. We are looking for a motivated and self-starting Physical Therapist who would want to join our team and expand their own career and clinical experience. The job responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of a variety of orthopedic and high functioning neurological patients.
HCPT is a privately own, patient centered clinic offering excellent outcomes , one on one treatment low patient volume to focus on quality hands on treatments.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution
Licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with experience working with a variety of orthopedic patients, neurological rehabilitation, Postural Restoration Institute Rehabilitation is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of Physical therapy assessments and interventions, rehabilitation techniques, and therapy equipment/devices
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Continued education and professional development in Physical Therapy
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
