The Technical Service Coordinator will work with internal stake holders and directly with our customers on formulations and specifications of their products. New customers, new customer products and commercialization process maintenance and coordination. This will include implementing any changes made by the customer by reviewing and approving newly submitted Specification Packets. The CQSC is responsible for communicating any such changes to appropriate departments and circulating a BOM change control form.Education/Prerequisite Requirements:
Minimum Associates degree (Bachelors preferred)
Must possess extensive knowledge of plant operations to properly understand customer change requests
Possess exemplary communication skills with both internal and external customers
Must be very organized, and detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize priorities
Equipment/Training Knowledge:
Must be proficient in Excel and Word
Must be able to successfully complete Better Process School (Steuben supplied training)
Work Specifications – Responsibilities:
Responsible for food safety and quality aspects relating to new customer & product commercialization. Coordination and execution of customer and audit requirements (SQF).
Commercialization support tasks for GNS and audit requirements (Customer and SQF).
The Technical Service Coordinator (TSC) will work directly with our customers on formulations and specifications of their products. Direct customer interaction required through email, phone, and on-site meetings. This will include implementing any changes made by the customer by reviewing and approving newly submitted Spec Packets. The TSC is responsible for communicating any such changes to appropriate departments via e-mail and circulating a BOM change control form.
Gather and analyze lab data to aid customers in setting or updating product specification ranges. Prepare data summaries to include trending and statistical analysis. Interact with customer to achieve mutual customer and company goals.
Support the manufacturing department with accurately converted customer formulations and finished product specifications in order that they carry out production in compliance with customer and company standards.
Create and maintain Production models in the Company ERP system. Appropriate structure and allocation of inputs to facilitate proper procurement, production, release, shipment, and costing of all variables.
Coordinating approvals with process authority, as required. New products, new equipment and changes affecting potential product safety concerns.
Submitting process filings with the FDA, as required. New products, new equipment and changes requiring new and updated filings.
The TSC will aid in complaint investigations as needed. It is the responsibility of the Technical Service Coordinator (TSC) to trace ingredients used in complaint lots if this is required for the complaint investigation.
Maintain plant-wide document control system and database. Includes updating manufacturing operational documents as changes are needed.
Internal Reports:
Document Control log: Update floor documents and log all changes to any controlled documents.
Expiration Dates: Calculate and distribute at the beginning of each month.
Conduct Traceability exercises bi-annually and at customer request.
Project management reports, as assigned.
Commercialization status report.
