Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Deer Park, New York. This role revolves around managing activities within the accounts receivable department, including the preparation and posting of invoices, and managing collection efforts. Responsibilities: Accurately maintain customer information, ensuring it is up-to-date. Assist in producing customer invoices and account statements. Manage credit checks for new customers and oversee credit limits. Conduct necessary reconciliations in systems, with a focus on Netsuite. Collaborate with internal departments such as sales and customer support for effective operations. Process incoming payments while adhering to company's financial policies and procedures. Pursue delinquent accounts through various methods such as phone calls and letters when required. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on receivables. Provide assistance during financial audits focusing on receivable processes and procedures.Requirements Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the IT Consulting industry Proficient in Account Reconciliation Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Skilled in Billing tasks and procedures Capable of handling Cash Applications effectively Experienced in Cash Collections and Commercial Collections Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with SAP software for financial management Proficient in using NetSuite ERP system for financial operations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
