Senior Manager – Azure Cloud Infrastructure (Healthcare IT)

Azure Cloud & Migration LeadershipLead the migration of infrastructure from on-premise to Azure PaaS, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance.Design and implement secure, cost-effective solutions using Azure native services including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and more.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.Manage Azure networking (VNet, Subnet, NSG), hybrid connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines).IT Infrastructure & OperationsManage a hybrid IT environment including on-prem virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and co-located datacenter resources.Oversee endpoint security, firewall configuration, backup strategy, and systems administration (Windows & Linux).Drive business continuity and disaster recovery strategy aligned with healthcare client SLAs.Evaluate and manage vendors, hardware/software upgrades, and cost optimization efforts.Security & Compliance ManagementEnsure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, SOC2, NIST, and other healthcare security frameworks.Manage security tools such as Sophos, Qualys, FortiNet, and ManageEngine Log360, Endpoint Central, and AD Audit Plus.Conduct internal/external audits, lead incident response, risk assessments, and coordinate third-party assessments.Stay informed of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive risk mitigation.Leadership & GovernanceLead and mentor IT infrastructure and security teams, setting goals and driving performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, PMO, Product) to define infrastructure/security needs in RFPs, SOWs, and change requests.Drive IT policy enforcement, access governance, and ensure operational excellence.Support facility planning including disaster recovery sites, physical security, and system resilience.
