This role demands expertise in financial planning, securities law, tax regulations, and corporate accounting principles. Responsibilities:Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing financial statements.Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.Research and interpret tax laws and regulations; advise clients on tax implications.Develop tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and align with client objectives.Support tax audits and inquiries by preparing necessary documentation and responses.Serve as a key contact for tax-related inquiries, effectively communicating complex tax matters.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, specializing in corporate and individual taxation.Proven ability to prepare complex tax returns and conduct tax research.Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.Effective prioritization and project management skills to meet deadlines.Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite; familiarity with TaxAct and/or Wolters Kluwer CCH Axcess a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
