Location: Delhi, NY Category: Student Jobs Posted On: Mon Mar 18 2024 Job Description: The Fitness Center is seeking to hire students for the Fall 2024 semester.
Fitness Center Student Staff must adhere to the current policies and guidelines.
Greet patrons, check their reservation on IMLeagues, and swipe their ID cards as they enter the Fitness Center.
Perform basic cleaning tasks such as sanitizing equipment, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and laundering cleaning towels.
Loan out recreational equipment using appropriate form, if applicable.
Perform basic safety inspections of equipment and report concerns to the current Fitness Center Coordinator.
Provide supervision of individuals using the Fitness Center.
Students working closing shifts are responsible for securing the building.
Students may be assigned to open or close the Clark Field House facility at applicable hours.
Job Requirements:
Must be reliable, punctual and able to complete assigned work tasks independently.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstration of leadership ability.
Maintenance of professional appearance required. Staff shirt and khaki, black, or grey shorts/pants are to be worn during your work shift.
Must be in good academic and judicial standing
Note: Occasionally, the student employee may need to lift and move significant loads; the student should be able to perform medium lifting (ex. 45lbs) to shoulder height. This work is not repetitive in nature.Preferred Requirements:
CPR/AED and First Aid certification
Strong Academic Performance (GPA >2.5)
Additional Information:
Wage: $15/hr
Approximately 10 hours per week
Fitness Center Hours: Open between 6 am -10 pm Monday-Friday, and 10 am -10 pm Saturday-Sunday
