Req Number 112374FlexStaff is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's team, a leading provider of optical technology within the aerospace and defense industry.This is a direct-hire, permanent position, onsite in Suffolk County, NY.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, code, test and debug embedded software.
Design and implement C/C Embedded software for primarily ARM cortex Microcontrollers, using the Keil MDK development kit.
Conduct system level testing, debugging, optimization.
Experience taking ownership of complex projects, and partnering with higher management to determine the Embedded software specifications and requirements.
Document and conduct thorough code reviews/walkthrough's. Maintain code and version control.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, computer engineering or electronics engineering or equivalent.
6+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in C/C.
Preferred experience:
FPGA/CPLD Programmable logic, VHDL/AHDL/Verilog
Digital signal processing for noise reduction, filtering, correlation.
