Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service specialist in CORTLAND, New York. As part of our team in the service industry, you will be pivotal in managing client accounts, liaising between customers and account managers, as well as handling various administrative duties to support our operations.Responsibilities: Validate and process all documentation submitted by clients Act as the main point of contact between customers, account managers, and operations teams when necessary Manage both new and existing client accounts Use financial tools at disposal to assess clients' credit worthiness and status Assist in resolving invoicing issues as and when they arise Create and manage intercompany projects Perform research and assist in resolving account problems Generate deposit invoices and submit internal match payments Utilize accounting software systems and customer service software to enhance efficiency Handle other duties as required to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience in CRM usage Understanding of 'About Time' software Ability to handle Accounting Functions Experience in Billing Functions Knowledge of Budget Processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Collection Processes Ability to make Account Adjustments Strong Customer Service skills Experience in Import Customer Service Knowledge of various Customer Service software.
