We are seeking a Packing and Organization Specialist to join our team at Flowering Sun Mushroom Farm. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient packing of orders, maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facilities, and contributing to the overall success of our cooperative. The pay is $17.50 an hour, and work days are Tuesday and Wednesday, and occasionally Monday
Responsibilities:
Pack all orders accurately and efficiently, including making and labeling boxes according to order specifications
Clean and organize the walk-in cooler to optimize space for packing and ensure product freshness.
Take note of special order requirements and ensure they are fulfilled with attention to detail.
Develop and implement systems and procedures to enhance efficiency in packing and organization processes.
Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and improve overall productivity.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
Previous experience in packing or related field is preferred, though not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability and drive to develop and implement systems that improve workflow and efficiency.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company, with the potential to earn worker shares over time, if desired
