We're looking for a new housekeeper to help keep everything in order at our high volume Airbnb in Catskill NY, catering to travelers visiting from all over the world. This property is currently operational and booked, so the position is available immediately.
This is a part time year round position with consistent weekly pay.
Responsibilities include:
Changing Sheets & Pillow Cases
Making (5) Beds
Vacuuming
Mopping
Sweeping Stairs
Cleaning Counters
Cleaning Showers
Cleaning Toilets
Laundry (we have 1 washers 1 dryer on site)
Supplies Inventory (cleaning products, coffee, snacks, water bottles, shampoo, conditioner, body wash)
Cleaning BBQ
Taking out Garbage Wednesday (and cans back in Thursday)
Keeping an eye on the yard and pool - we have lawn and pool maintenance, but we still need to clean the BBQ and make sure everything's organized.
Etc.
We like to offer warm and welcoming accommodations for our guests, so attention to detail is key. Experience is welcome, but we're happy to train the right person.
Turnovers take place between 11AM and 4PM Sundays through Friday - no Saturdays. Generally we'll see 2 or 3 maximum turnovers per week. We do room rentals during the winter (off season) which requires more regular visits to the house, but less cleaning / laundry than the whole house turnovers. The property is a 5 bedroom 2 bathroom Victorian, so this would be a good fit for a rockstar solo housekeeper.
We need someone who can SEEK AND DESTROY dirt and dust, and isn't afraid to move things to vacuum where the sun doesn't shine. Also having a good design sense, and organizational skills are a big plus. We already have bulletproof procedures and all supplies in place. If things start to slack, people notice right away.
