Looking for a cook who is very clean, organized, and independent to run his/her own line cooking quality breakfasts and lunches with local, real ingredients; to do ordering and handle receipt of orders when they come in, in addition to prep for their line. Dishes will sometimes have wild-foraged ingredients so if outdoors is something you enjoy, we are happy to bring you along for Chanterelle harvests etc. Dishes can range from Herbed Scramble with local eggs to Connecticut Butter Lobster Roll to Local Grass-fed Burgers and Shakshuka and simple items like Local Egg & amish aged cheddar Breakfast Burrito and Roasted Turkey Club with Lemon Rind Aioli, Local Sourdough & Bibb lettuce.
Must be a non-smoker. Fun and beautiful little cafe that is in transition of its menu and receiving a liquor license. Basic cooking skills and knowledge necessary but beyond that, we're very happy to train the right person!

$700-$750/wk base pay, will pay more for experience cooking and experience ordering/inventory
