I'm looking for a civil engineer who can provide specialized knowledge in court regarding the technical details of updating and repairing a road, also known as a driveway.
The case is about a breach of contract. The contractor hired did not "properly" (or at all) crown, grade, or roll the item 4 stone used to repair the road.
I have photos and text messages from the day after the contractor claimed the work was done, which show poor workmanship.
Since I am not an "expert" on how roads should be done. I need to take one to court with me to explain to the judge what and how the work should have been done.
It would involve a visit to the driveway located in Roxbury, NY, to walk the road and review documentation. And attending court, which would be approximately 2 hours. mostly waiting.
Pay would be your current hourly rate.
