Community Prevocational Supervisor - St. Lawrence CountyJob DetailsJob LocationSt.Lawrence County - Canton, NY Salary Range$23.01 - $26.23 Hourly DescriptionPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work– Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:00pm. Flexible to the needs of the program, may include evening and weekend hours. Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, or related program with one year of supervisory experience preferred; OR AA/AS Degree in Human services or related program and three years of experience in a vocational setting; OR High School Diploma and five years of experience in a vocational setting and 1 year of supervisory experience required. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history per the agency’s insurance requirements. Work Authorization/Security Clearance –Authorized to work in the United States and pass all background clearances. Summary/Objective -Responsible for the complete oversight of the Community Prevocational Program to include any regulatory changes and/or updates. Responsible for each assigned person’s we support vocational plan of service and required program documentation. Responsible for the supervision of the Community Prevocational Professionals and Prevocational Counselor, Responsible for the oversight and implementation of staff training. Keep the Administrator of Community Based Employment & Community Prevocational Services informed of any concerns and/or updates. Essential Functions –Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Complete all documentation required for annual reviews, semi-annual reviews, and interim meetings.

Provide daily interventions with persons we support and work in cooperation with all program staff to promote Independence, Integration, Individualization and Productivity.

Assist persons we support to gain access to needed community services and supports.

Complete CBPV ISP programs, annual and semi-annual reviews, habilitative plans, monthly notes, and six-month reviews of progress on Therap.

Complete T-logs and GER data entries as necessary.

Complete admission documentation for Community Based Prevocational Services, including documents needed on CHOICES.

Identify and help address barriers that may hinder persons we support progress toward supported employment.

Monitor and review daily documentation by staff to ensure accuracy and completeness for billing. Complete all required documentation for monthly billing.

Responsible for all intakes for the Community Prevocational Program.

Responsible for developing CPV daily and weekly schedule of Community Prevocational activities for persons we support and CPV staff and adjust accordingly. Ensure that all volunteer sites are aware of any changes.

Assist with obtaining and establishing activities in the community.

Responsible for maintaining contact with businesses to ensure satisfaction of services.

Ensure that coverage is maintained in the absence of Community Prevocational Professionals.

Develop and implement Community Based Prevocational Hub activities for people we support.

Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-services.

Travel - As needed within St. Lawrence County and Jefferson County.

Work Environment -This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
