As a Broker, you'll be a vital part of The Arc Ontario, facilitating Person-Centered Planning and crafting customized budgets to empower those we support. In this role, you'll schedule and lead Planning Meetings, collaborate with Medicaid Service Coordinators, and champion individualized Self-Directed Plans. Actively seek community connections, develop tailored budgets, and maintain open communication with supervisors, support circles, and service providers. Document progress diligently, engage in professional development, and contribute to our mission of fostering an inclusive and supportive community. Assists with development of scheduling of Planning Meetings and acts in partnership with the Medicaid Service Coordinator.
Develops, implements, and maintains the Self Directed Plan with the individual and their chosen circle of support, keeping in mind the premise of Person-Centered Planning.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Three years of relevant experience.
Agency will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Broker Certification obtained through OPWDD Broker Training Institute.
Valid NYS Driver's License.
Reliable mode of transportation also required.
