Our entry-level apartment maintenance technician job involves performing basic repairs, routine maintenance tasks, and assisting with more complex projects under the guidance of experienced technicians. This includes tasks like painting, fixing minor plumbing and electrical issues, cleaning and assisting with more complex tasks. Keeping the property grounds and common areas in good condition. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
Performing basic repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, or cleaning common areas.
Unit Preparation:
Preparing vacant apartments for new residents by cleaning, painting, and making minor repairs.
Grounds Maintenance:
Lawn mowing, leaf removal, shrub and hedge trimming, and snow removal as needed.
Assisting with Repairs:
Helping with more complex repairs like electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Assisting with diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with appliances, plumbing, or electrical systems.
On-Call Duties:
Responding to emergency maintenance requests on a rotating on-call schedule.
