Legal Assistant

We are looking for legal assistant candidates. We are a busy Federal Workers Compensation firm that focuses on those who have become sick after working in the nuclear weapons industry or who were exposed to radiation as a result of atmospheric nuclear weapons testing in New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Nevada. The position involves reviewing medical records, drafting letters related to that information and communicating with claimants and the US Department of Labor. We are looking for someone who has done well in school (please send copies of transcripts) and can write and communicate on the phone (please send a cover letter and a resume). Compensation is competitive and benefits include health insurance, 401 K, and vacation time. Ours is a small office that is relatively low stress and we do a very good job for our claimants.
