We design and build timber frame homes.
We are looking for a physically fit, dependable, hard-worker who is comfortable using power saws to work at our shop in North Collins and learn how to make precise cuts in large wooden timbers.
Every timber that goes into our homes is hand-crafted by our shop team. Join us and learn the age old techniques of cutting mortise and tenon joinery.

HELPFUL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience is great but not necessary
Hard worker, comfortable using basic carpentry tools and power saws
Solid strength and mobility, the ability to work on your feet all day
Willingness to learn
Extreme attention to detail
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
You'll start with the biggest saw in the shop and whittle the timbers down, progressing from power saws and drills to simple hand chisels, mallets, planers, and razor knives as the details of the timber frame emerge.
Measure and cut large timbers with handheld circular saws
Chisel precise mortise and tenon joints
Arrange timbers in your workspace using a small forklift
Test fit your timbers by assembling them in sections using clamps so our install team has a smooth assembly on site
