A Hardscape Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of hardscape features like patios, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls. They work outdoors, using a variety of tools and equipment to prepare sites, install hardscape elements, and handle materials. The role also involves following instructions from the crew leader, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring high-quality standards. Must have knowledge of running a dingo, power buggy and skid steer. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test if needed.
Key Skills:
Site Preparation: Preparing job sites for construction, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
Material Handling: Loading and unloading trucks, hauling materials, and properly storing them.
Equipment Operation: Operating tools and equipment like jackhammers, laser levels, and small machinery.
Installation: Assisting in the construction of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Concrete Work: Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete.
Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
Safety: Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety regulations.
Teamwork: Working collaboratively with the crew leader and other team members.
Quality Control: Maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project.
