Everyday is a new day at Ace Flag, where you will receive HANDS-ON TRAINING! The Installation Assistant is responsible for the efficient installation and repair of flagpoles & signage while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires mechanical aptitude, effective time management, and the ability to work independently or with another co-worker. Candidates must be highly organized, adaptable, and willing to learn other roles to support the company. Come join our family-owned, small business!
<< DAILY TASKS >>
-Load and unload materials, tools, and machinery for on-site jobs.
-Operate bobcats, forklifts, power tools, scaffolding, and other heavy machinery as needed. HANDS-ON TRAINING!
-Safely operate a 40-foot bucket truck as needed.
-Comfortably work at heights of 50+ feet using scaffolding or lifts and ladders up to 40+ feet.
-Perform manual labor, including lifting more than 40 lbs frequently, and be able to dig using a shovel.
-Adapt to schedule changes as needed based on job requirements. Daily shift time will alter to the needs of the job, but can be as early as 5-6am.
-Treat customers, vendors, and team members with respect and courtesy.
-Adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards. OSHA 10 requested, but not required for interview.
-Maintain a valid, clean driver’s license.
-Travel within the Western New York (WNY) and Rochester areas in company vehicles; this position is NOT remote.
