Position Title: Senior Research Support Specialist, Pharmaceutical SciencesPosting Number: R240026Employer: Research FoundationSalary Range: $70,000 - $75,000FTE: 1.00Position Summary: The University at Buffalo’s Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (https://pharmacy.buffalo.edu/departments-offices/pharmaceutical-sciences.html) is a dynamic and innovative hub of research and academic excellence. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Research Support Specialist in the Core Instrument Facility. Job Duties include:

Coordinating the open access core instrument facility within the department.

Maintenance of instrumentation within facility.

General facility upkeep, maintenance.

Instruct in portions of undergraduate and graduate courses that involve practical or theoretical use of analytical techniques.

Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field or appropriate combination of education and/or experience

Previous experience operating and maintaining analytical instruments, preferably in an academic environment
