Description We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Counselor. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, providing them with valuable insights and advice to help them make informed decisions about their financial needs.Responsibilities:

Assist clients in understanding various loan options and programs available to them.

Evaluate clients' financial situations and recommend suitable loan products.

Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates on the status of their loan applications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and assistance as needed.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide clients with the most relevant and current information.

Training:

First 7 weeks (classroom): 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM Eastern Time

Weeks 8-12 (hands-on): 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM Local Time

After Training: Week 13 onwards

45-50 hours per week

Basic hours: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Local Time

2 late evenings per week

2 Saturdays per month for workshops (4 hours each)

Required to participate in/work national events, which occur a few times per year in metro areas around the country (typically during 3-day weekends, Fri-Mon or Thurs-Mon). If counselors work during event weekends, their days off are scheduled during the week.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or financial services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of loan products and financial regulations (preferred).

Must be adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
