Given that our founder and CEO is a former Buffalo resident, we are posting this career opportunity that will require you to relocate to either Los Angeles, California, or the Atlantic coast of Florida, where the company has operations. Individuals who have experience with WNY region companies like Multisorb Technologies, Pactech, Proampac or others in the packaging industry will be very welcome candidates.
The hired candidate will have a choice of training and initially working out of Sebastian, Florida or Los Angeles, California. Once part of the team you will be required to travel a significant portion of the year, and you will also have the opportunity to live and work in Europe by Q1 2027.

The ideal candidate will not be afraid to ask questions on the job, will maintain a professional attitude, be excited about every opportunity to learn something new and always be willing to lend a helping hand. Every November, the company presents and exhibits at the Medica exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany, and we also present at the triennial Interpack show in Dusseldorf. Ideally, you will be experienced in traveling and customer contact.
The Job:
You will work extensively with our existing supply chain base in Japan and China; one primary goal will be to expand this supply chain base to new companies in such countries as Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China. The position will work extensively with those suppliers to expand and enhance their capabilities in terms of providing Impak Corporation with everything from components, materials, and even on occasion completely finished products.
Early training will include extensive work in the purchasing department to develop an understanding of the significant level of detail required in communication with our suppliers. Subsequent training will include extensive interface with our account representatives to understand what motivates and drives our customers to work with us. Eventually after a 16 week minimum period of training, you will be involved in regular contact with our Supply base while at the same time being aware of customers specific requirements.
Qualifications needed:
Experience in Packaging (if not packaging, then a physical product produced to specification and used in manufacturing environments).
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Familiarity with inventory procedures
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus with high level listening skills
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
Excellent Organizational Skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Must have the ability to multitask
Excellent Time Management skills
Experience Necessary:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in packaging or industrial product experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary: $88K base per year. Impak has substantial bonus opportunities
