- Manage all aspects of DSS Web Servers and related enterprise software throughout their lifecycle.
- Manage and configuring application servers, web sites, web applications using IIS and Tomcat
- Collaborate with development teams to discuss, analyse, or resolve usability issues.
- Document application and web site changes or change procedures.
- Deployment and operational support of all web servers in the environment to include application configuration, certificate management, and web services configuration and maintenance.
- Ensure the web servers, hardware and software are operating accurately. Troubleshoot all issues with the developers, various infrastructure teams and vendors.
- Web and App design from end to end which Involves firewall, DNS, and Load balancer.
- Backup and restore of data and applications
- Collaborate with all ITS and Project Management staff to effectively complete ITS web server related projects in the interest of supporting mission critical applications and the agency's business needs.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, PowerShell, Internet technologies (Microsoft IIS 7.0, 8.0, 8.5 & 10) and Tomcat configurations
- Experience managing web server environments running modern Windows Server 2016/2019
- Experience troubleshooting Web server issues
- Knowledge of internet server protocols and utilities
- Understanding of current and emerging infrastructure technologies and practices and how other organizations are employing them and the ability to identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement
