Design of landscape projects and day-to-day coordination of team production; Generate creative, responsive, and site-specific ideas in collaboration with team; Test conceptual design ideas via both hand and computer graphics efficiently; Ensure design intent and quality across all stages; Ability to translate conceptual design into construction drawings and details; Ability to work independently to develop tasks for project progression; Coordinate the development of drawings from concept through construction documentation; Coordinate, communicate and report with project team and project managers; Attend project meetings and develop meeting minutes for project manager review as well as for project records; Assist project coordination meetings; Conduct site observations in collaboration with Project Manager; Maintain project workflow organization including the management of CAD standards, preparation of meeting minutes, and maintaining project file structure; Create and Organize Client’s binders; Lead and participate in special projects that contribute to the operation and innovation of the firm, such as assisting with marketing activities, design research, and development of firm documents; Independently provide design solutions graphically in a creative and timely manner; Demonstrate interest and ability to engage in mentorship and professional guidance of junior staff and demonstrate leadership to foster positive motivational experience to design staff. Must have professional or academic proficiency in software technologies: AutoCAD, Lumion, Revit, Rhinoceros, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Premier Pro), ArcGIS or QGis, Instagram, Hootsuite, Planoly, Procreate, Flow, SparkAR, and DALL-E. Must have professional or academic knowledge of the Northeast Region plant materials, knowledge of Tropical Regions plant materials, and planting material industry and sourcing understanding; familiarity with New York City Building Code; zoning regulations; Rules of NYC Landmark Preservation Commission; ADA standards for accessible design; playground inspection; Department of Buildings filing; Base Flood Elevation calculation.Minimum Salary: 74,162
