Description We are currently seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented Corporate Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate income tax returns, estimating taxes, and developing tax strategies.Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and estimates, and other tax documents as required.

Ensure company adherence to federal and state laws across various jurisdictions.

Manage and maintain records for tax reported, tax paid, and other related tax records.

Assist with tax audits and tax returns, including preparing appropriate responses to tax authorities regarding audits.

Research and analyze changes in tax legislation; advising management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.

Assist in budget preparation by providing tax forecast.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Assist management in identifying, assessing, and reducing tax risks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s degree in taxation will be a plus.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate tax accounting.

Detailed understanding and working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes and laws.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficiency with tax software and MS Office (especially Excel).

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
