Job Title: Factory Administrative AssistantJob DescriptionWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our small manufacturing environment in Brooklyn. This role involves supporting the R&D and lab managers with various administrative tasks, including batch coordination, inventory management, and record keeping. This is a long-term opportunity with growth potential in the industrial adhesives industry.Responsibilities
Coordinate batch production, including opening tickets in the system, printing accurate labels with lot numbers, and ensuring adhesive is correctly bottled.
Perform basic administrative duties.
Organize stock and manage inventory, including counting boxes of various materials.
Fill out purchase requests for materials and submit them to the purchasing team.
Maintain records for safety team meetings, including sign-offs and scanning documents.
Handle the administrative side of production operations.
Essential Skills
GED or High School Diploma.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in data entry.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform clerical tasks and administrative assistance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with inventory management and labeling.
Ability to work directly with R&D and manufacturing managers.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a small manufacturing environment in Brooklyn with around 30 employees. The role involves working in the office on the manufacturing floor. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The environment is a factory/warehouse setting with a family-owned firm atmosphere.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
