In addition, the Fiscal Department recommends alternatives to assure that organization wide objectives and priorities are met.Position: Director of Grants and Contract ManagementReports To: Chief Financial OfficerLocation: 1720 Church Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226 What The Director of Grants and Contract Management Does:

Conduct oversight of contract compliance

Make recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer regarding organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Develop, implement and manage an agency-wide contracts management and reporting system (i.e., grantor financial reporting);

Lead agency contracts team to establish agency policies and procedures for managing all aspects of contracts/grants including startup, renewals, amendments, modifications, closeouts, etc.

Ensure a contract administration plan is developed for each government contract

Supervise project fiscal administrators (i.e., contracts billing specialists)

Oversee the preparation of reporting documents to government and private funders, ensuring the timely submission of all vouchers and related compliance reports

Liaison with accounts receivable in finance department to provide detailed reporting on outstanding government contract receivables

Manage the resolution of disallowed costs by setting up appropriate control systems

Monitor expenditures for each contract and liaises with Budget Manager to coordinate contract budget modifications with the budget department

Support audit requests by governmental funding agencies, and ensures feedback to grantors regarding their contract monitoring visits

Ensure uniformity of contracts compliance within the organization by interpreting grantor policies and procedures to fiscal staff and program mangers

Facilitate the development of quality assurance systems and ensure timeliness to monitor and tract contract mandates and deliverables

Implement and monitor expense reporting procedures to assure accuracy and timeliness of reported contract expenses

Prepare summary reports for senior management and program managers

Assist in determining agency risks associated with starting new publicly funded programs and make recommendations to RFP team

Assist in the development of agency budget(s)

Act as the primary liaison between the agency and the grantors for post-award contracts management

Clearly communicate CAMBA's policies, requirements, guidelines, and performance targets to staff.

Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff comply with CAMBA's policies and rules and that any disciplinary action taken is in compliance with CAMBA's disciplinary policy and procedure.

Ensure that all goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met on a monthly basis.

Approve staff's travel and expense vouchers, trainings, vacation/leave requests.

Sign time sheets and prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports and statistical information for CAMBA management use.

Communicate with peers on issues related to best practices.

Conduct regular staff meetings.

Confer with the Chief Financial Officer and/or other CAMBA management/Executive Staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues.

Immediately report to the Chief Financial Officer any significant events and/or any incident that might subject CAMBA to liability.

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and five years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 annuallyWhen salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program.
