Focused within the Blood Bank Department
Ensure that all specimens are put in appropriate storage
Follow all quality control policies and procedures to ensure reliable patient results
Recognize critical or life-threatening results, verify results, and report to the appropriate clinician
Document all results in the LIS
Qualifications:
NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or valid permit issued by NYSDOE Clinical Laboratory to Technology
Blood Bank experience in clinical lab
Open to working overnight shift
ASCP is preferred
