JOB SUMMARY: Provide quality homecare services to homebound clientsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement a program of personal care services as established by the Agency Nurse and as directed by the Case Coordinator and Registered Nurse which may include, but is not limited to, a range of the following: shopping planning, preparing, serving and feeding of meals assisting client in and out of bed/wheelchair assisting client to be ambulatory helping with personal hygiene and grooming; bathing, toiletry and dressing escorting client on doctor/clinic visits providing companionship.Household services or light housekeeping services are included to the clients care addition to the personal care services detailed above. These services are to be performed for the sole benefit of the client and no other. Included within, but not limited to, this range of services are: washing, drying and storing dishes; laundering; mending; ironing; changing/making beds; removing and covering trash/garbage; dusting; vacuuming; sweeping; mopping; cleaning individual rooms; storing perishables; defrosting the refrigerator and cleaning the oven.
