ROLE SUMMARY:Assists the Teacher in the implementation of the education program for the birth to 21 years of age. Performs related work as requested.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attends to the physical needs of the children

Adheres to the Health Safety and sanitation policies, and maintains a clean, safe, and hygienic classroom.

Assists the teacher in implementing the education program.

Performs supportive teaching duties under the direction and supervision of the teacher.

Performs additional tasks in a timely fashion

Positions, transfers, and feed students as necessary

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Part-time​, or Per DiemSHIFT:

Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:15 am - 2:45 pm (30 hours/week), on a 12-month school year.

Part-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:30 am - 1:30 pm (15 hours/week)

Per Diem Schedule: On-call

HOURLY RATE: $18.03 - $18.04 per hourA full-time position is benefit eligible and has generous time off.RequirementsROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited High School GED

Minimum of one year experience working with children in a classroom or childcare environment preferred.

Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.

Must have the ability to supervise children in a variety of educational settings including, but not limited to, self-contained and integrated.

Must be physically able to handle all aspects of the supervision of the day-to-day activities of students which may include, but are not limited to, running, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
