As the Service Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and testing on Bioprocess instruments at our service center. Ensure instruments are performing to manufacturer’s specifications and standard Operation Procedures following calibration.What you will accomplish together with us:
You will perform calibrations and Preventive Maintenance, as well as perform repairs.
One of your tasks will be to provide repair and service estimates.
You will be expected to complete all related documentation for each service performed. Example: SAP service reports, calibration documents and test certifications.
You will perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor that fall into the knowledge and skills requirements of the position.
This is in-house service technician position, employee will be performing work functions at our Bohemia, NY service depot. This will require strict adherence to all site Health and Safety requirements as mandated by both the customer and Sartorius.
What will convince us:
You have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalency.
You possess 2+ years’ experience using test equipment including multimeters, troubleshooting, etc.
Proficiency with computers using Windows operating systems and Microsoft office applications.
Repair and troubleshooting experience preferred.
You have Electro-mechanical experience and/or training.
Installation of software and firmware updates/testing.
Experience with customer maintenance/best practice training.
Must have recently worked with and be competent in measuring AC/DC voltages.
You possess hands on experience with calibration and repair of equipment, motors, and electromechanical assemblies, etc. preferred.
Must be able bodied and able to lift 50lbs. Able to stand or work standing up for long periods of time (8 hours) .
Valid Driver's License (clear of moving violations and DUI history) and Passport (or ability to get one).

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between 26.44/hour and $40.87/hour depending on experience.
