The Project Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design of HVAC systems, as well as the overall MEP engineering design, construction administration, and project management for a number of institutional clients.
The role will require the performance of load calculations, site surveys, design review, preparation of detailed engineering drawings and schematics, as well as field inspections for MEP systems.
The projects will be primarily for government and institutional clients with an focus on the HVAC/MEP design and the Project Engineer will be responsible for taking ownership of the projects from design all the way through construction.
Candidate should have 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering as well as a proven record of taking projects form design to finish to be successful in the role.
Qualifications:
4+ years in Mechanical Design Engineering, specifically in HVAC or Plumbing projects
4+ years' experience in AutoCAD designing
Proficient with building codes and guidelines such as NYS Energy Code, NYS Mechanical Code, NYS Building Code, and NFPA.
Bachelor's degree required.
