Location: Binghamton, Endicott, Johnson City, Vestal NY

Salary: $20/hr

Join our forward-thinking real estate development group, as we transform the Tri-Cities area with our portfolio of 100 residential and commercial units. We're seeking an ambitious, motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Property Management Assistant. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a young professional and/or local higher education student passionate about making a tangible impact in real estate and property management.

Role Overview:

As a vital member of our team, you'll support our in-house property manager in a variety of key functions to ensure our properties operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will include, but not be limited to:

Property Oversight: Manage property keys securely, coordinate maintenance requests, and show available units to prospective tenants.

Leasing Assistance: Assist in leasing activities, ensuring units are rented out promptly and efficiently.

Agency Liaison: Maintain contact with housing support agencies to identify potential tenants.

Renovation Coordination: Work closely with handymen and contractors to coordinate the scope, schedules, and budget for renovations and property turnovers, ensuring work is completed to our standards within the allocated budget and timeframe.

Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks and communications with tenants to foster satisfaction and loyalty.

Additional Tasks:

Project Management: Collaborate with our team on special projects, including but not limited to property enhancements and tenant engagement initiatives.

Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting for property maintenance and renovations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value addition to our properties.

Requirements:

If a student, enrolled in a professional program (i.e. Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field)

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication abilities for effective tenant, agency, and team interactions.

Independent worker with a strong team spirit.

Genuine interest in the real estate field, eager to learn and advance within the industry.

Flexible availability to meet the part-time job demands.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage of $20/hr.
