The Junior Engineer is primarily responsible for a hands on approach to assist in the improvements in
our manufacturing processes.
Recommended Requirements:
Knowledge of Solidworks
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances
Interpret engineering drawings
Can operate a CMM independently
Solid PC skills and typing skills is a plus
Ability to Type 50-60 words a minute minimum
Ability to effectively meet and communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
Good written communication skills and effective organizational skills
Duties & Tasks:
Works with the production team in a “hands-on” fashion, supporting the build of product
Creates or modifies documentation and establishes standard procedures and work
instructions for the fabrication and build of the product.
Develop Bills of Operation (routings) for all products including time studies and efficiency
evaluations
Problem solving manufacturing issues
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
General 3D Printing Abilities
Ability to setup a COBOT
CNC Machining Skills a plus
Ability to work with a sense of urgency under certain circumstances
Knowledge on using an ERP system (ECI JobBoss)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
