Wanted, a live-in aid for an 87 year old woman with dementia and incontinence issues. She is currently living home with outside aides assisting morning and evening. Family is providing nighttime care and routine daytime care.
The live in will have primary responsibility for dressing/undressing including changing soiled clothing most days (family can fill in occasionally). Of course emergency assistance may be required at any time. Wages commensurate with experience and skill level.
Do not apply unless you have experience with dementia patients and are not offended by the patient’s critical comments and/or combative behavior. Do not apply if you have a problem assisting with bathroom activities.
The live in accommodations include bedroom, bathroom and adjacent recreation room. The aid can cook his/her meals in the home kitchen and keep food in the refrigerator. Driveway parking is available.
