JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Wholesale Billing SpecialistReports to: Director of Data Processing/Office ManagerStatus: Full-time, Hourly Non-exemptHourly Rate: $18 - $20ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to:
Maintain accurate billing records/bookkeeping, process customer billings for assigned area (commercial wholesale business).
Provide timely and accurate customer service to internal customers; research and respond to questions/issues related to customer billings as appropriate and when applicable communicate issues to management, account executives and external customers.
Process assigned billings according to contracts and price agreements to ensure compliance.
Prepare related reports to include, but not limited to customer billings.
Remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
Adhere to company policies and procedures 100% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES- include and are not limited to:
Ensure billing (daily/weekly/monthly) is completed timely and accurately
Ensure proper billing of all transactions 100% of the time.
Conduct periodic billing audits to maintain accuracy in work.
Reports to work with minimal absenteeism or tardiness.
Attend job related training and informational seminars as requested.
Performs all other job-related activities and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- include and are not limited to:
Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and on a team, problem solve
Possess basic skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Industry experience preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be available to work overtime as required (including weekends)
