As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join their team and contribute to their success.The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial activities at the manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, cost management, and financial analysis. They will work closely with the plant management team to drive profitability, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and implement effective internal controls.Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and maintain annual operating budgets and forecasts for the plant.

Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide insights to management.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Cost Management:

Monitor and control production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.

Conduct regular cost analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.

Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Present financial results to plant management and corporate stakeholders.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory control processes to minimize carrying costs and optimize inventory levels.

Coordinate physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Work closely with supply chain and production teams to improve inventory turnover.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, including operations, procurement, and human resources, to achieve business objectives.

Provide financial expertise and support for decision-making across the organization.
