Description:JOB DESCRIPTION: The Paint Technician position is responsible for various paint prep processes. Primarily responsible for the masking/taping of product prior to the finishing process. This position is geared towards developing skill sets to be a manufacturing painter.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply tape and protective paper to product parts that should be exempt of paint
- De-masking painted parts by removing tape
- Place plugs in holes of metal parts to prevent paint from entering
- Sanding metal parts of imperfections
- Learning Powder and/or liquid Painting techniques under supervision
- Perform quality inspections of product being prepared
