Our client's day-habilitation program and patient residence focus on providing comprehensive support that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Our client is currently searching for a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their team.As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping elderly clients achieve their highest level of independence and engage meaningfully in their daily lives. You will work in a dual setting-spending half of your day in our clinic and the other half providing in-home therapy to clients. Your expertise will help assess clients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance their functional abilities.Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine individual client needs and goals.
Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions that promote independence and improve daily living skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support daily functioning and overall well-being.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with elderly populations in both clinical and home settings is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
