Our products include milk, flavored milk, yogurt, dip, sour cream, cottage cheese, and ice cream mix marketed under the Upstate Farms®, Bison®, Milk for Life®, and Intense Milk® brands.Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance/Parts Inventory Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for high school graduates or college students to gain hands-on experience in inventory management, maintenance operations, and organizational skills within an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, labeling, and managing parts bins, as well as inputting and tracking inventory in our Tabware system.Key Responsibilities:

Organize & Label Parts Bins: Sort and organize inventory items into designated parts bins, ensuring proper labeling and clear identification for easy retrieval.

Inventory Management: Accurately input inventory information into the Tabware system, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and reflects the current stock levels.

Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records of parts usage, orders, and inventory updates. Assist in generating reports as required by the Inventory Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

General Support: Assist the maintenance team with any other inventory-related or operational tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate or currently enrolled college student.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Proficient with basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word).

Comfortable learning new software systems (e.g., Tabware, or equivalent inventory management system).

Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with team members.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move light-to-medium weight items (up to 55 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.

Additional Information:

Duration: Summer Internship (approx. June – August)

Hours: M-F, 1st Shift

Compensation: $15.50 per hour

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity.
