The Industrial Electrician will troubleshoot, repair and inspect a wide variety of equipment, in both indoor and outdoor applications, in a continuous operational environment. The Industrial Electrician should have:Knowledge of electrical principles and wiring specification codesKnowledge of and experience with PLCsExperience working with motors, transformers, circuit breakers, electronic controls and other various equipmentThe Industrial Electrician will:Analyze and interpret one lines, wiring diagrams, sketches and diagrams to select a logistical approach to troubleshooting, tracing, and testing circuitsModify, maintain and install PLC programsPerform electrical isolation of equipment for safety of self and others, while minimizing interference to operationsAdvise operators, mechanics, and other electrical maintenance personnel of standard operating procedures and requirements for electrical equipment and controls
