Assist with activities developed for referred students in re-teaching core concepts, study, homework, test taking skills/completion and any other services required for their successfully completion of formal schooling and community needs.Job Qualifications: Bachelors in Education, NYS teaching certification preferred. At least 2 years experience with Native American students and knowledge of the SN community. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have experience in managing students. Must possess analytical skills and strategic mindset. Be CPR, First Aid certified or obtain certification upon hire. Must complete a Tuberculosis test and physical and provide physician's documentations of both. Must possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences. Be mentally and physically capable of caring for students alone in a classroom. Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and initiative.
