Patient Care Technician Maternity

Job Requisition: REQ2793 Employment Type: Part-time Shift: Nights & Weekends Hours Per Week: 28 hrs weekHiring Range : $17.17-$22.32 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities: Aids with movement and placement of patients. Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living. Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records. Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Education: High school diploma/GED required Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
