IPS Employment Specialist

Job Requisition: REQ2637Employment Type: Full-TimeShift: DaysHours Per Week: 40 hours/weekHiring Range: $26.61 - The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Responsibilities:· Actively collaborate with the ACT team and other agency programs in the development and planningand implementation of individualized employment.· Assist with educational services for participants, including visits to local GED programs and colleges.· Provide direct support with helping an individual find and secure a job.· Assist with resume writing, completing applications and scheduling or participant in interviews.· May provide follow-along job coaching. Support individuals to maintain their job.· Complete case record documentation as required by program funding sources and Unity House in atimely manner.· Ensures standards for proper maintenance of individuals case records, including accurate NYESS activity documentation in our electronic health records system.· Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.Education: High School Diploma/GED Required.Minimum Six (6) months of personal or professional experience in human services working with people with severe mental illness. Experience providing employment services to people with barriers to employment preferred.
