Job Description: Lead Pool Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Pool Technician to join the team at a fast growing pool business in Hudson Valley, NY. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performing pool openings, closings, and routine maintenance. As a Lead Technician, you will oversee field operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide mentorship to junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Pool Openings and Closings: perform all aspects of seasonal openings and closings, including cover removal/installation, equipment winterization, and startup procedures.
Routine Maintenance: test and balance water chemistry, clean and vacuum pools, inspect equipment, and perform minor repairs.
Customer Service: communicate clearly with clients, address concerns, and provide service recommendations.
Team Leadership: train and mentor junior technicians, ensuring safety and efficiency on all jobs.
Equipment Management: maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure proper tool care.
Qualifications:
3+ years in pool service, specializing in openings, closings, and equipment troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of water chemistry, pool systems, and equipment repair; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license.
Certified Pool Operator (preferred)
Compensation
- $65-85,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
