We are looking for a Sales Rep / Biz Dev who has experience in selling to Architects, contractors and Stone Yards in Albany and Upstate New York, Also positions available at other territories / locations.
Field Sales for Granite/Stone Manufacturer ( New Jersey and New York)
compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 base plus commission, plus travel expenses

At High Bridge Stone / GraniteScape, we’ve made using granite not only the best esthetic choice for outdoor spaces, but the most economical one, too. As a result, we are expecting more leads based on the pipeline we are building. And so now we need someone to close the business we that we will find, as a result of our active marketing program – with architects, designers and contractors throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
This position, which pays a generous base and commission, and which involves being on the road 3-4 days per week, is perfect for the sales professional who likes to get out and meet people – especially meeting the creative decision makers who are designing some of the most notable spaces in the region, USA and many parts of the World – and help them understand how our granite can enable them to win more business, and put their work on the map. Your influence will count! And there’s no cold calling. We’ll get you in the door, and we’ll provide you with lots of highly qualified leads and appointments. All you need you to do is show people the product, work with designers to get it specced in, and then follow through with the contractors that win the projects to make sure they stick to the spec.

You’ll get great training to start, and it’s easy to understand our products and how to sell them to architects, building and landscape designers, specifiers, property owners, contractors, stone yards and retailers. You’ll be given generous expense coverage, and the freedom to set your own schedule. All we need you to do is bring back the orders!
Responsibilities
Present, promote and sell GraniteScape products (Pavers, Curb, Cobbles, Treads / Steps, Building Stone and other custom products all-natural Granite stone) throughout the Upstate New York regions by being on the road visiting prospects and customers 4 days per week
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Network with customers to identify new opportunities
Expedite the resolution of customer issues to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Provide management with reports on customer needs and interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Research on upcoming projects in the region or wherever the Regional clients are specifying
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Continuously improve through feedback
Requirements
Proven track record and experience as a field sales representative in the Stone / Hardscape Business
Familiarity with using a CRM to report and track activity and results
Ability to build productive and professional business relationships
Highly motivated and target driven
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
