Temporary Position - M-F/7.5 hours per day

Only candidate with legal experience will be considered.

The Client is seeking candidates to assist with the management of the agency's Records Access program. The position calls for staff who are task oriented with great attention to detail. Additionally staff need to be able to work independently with time sensitive and confidential tasks, have experience with redacting sensitive documents in line with state and federal laws, have the ability to audit and review redactions, have experience training new staff, have knowledge of, and ability to apply, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and LEAN concepts to make processes more efficient, and be able to send correspondence to outside state agencies and/or service providers.

We are seeking individuals with a working knowledge of computer programs/systems including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Pro, SharePoint, TEAMS and Email (Outlook). The position also requires the ability to be knowledgeable of and utilize the Client database program.

Specific job duties include: completing provider redactions on Client cases that have been finalized by the Investigations unit and are ready to be reviewed by the facility, completing redactions on cases requested by parties under SSL § 496, completing redactions on FOIL requests; audit and review redactions performed by others, train new staff on provider redactions; monitoring provider redaction workflow in SharePoint to ensure efficiency and productivity; maintain functional awareness on staff responsibilities and assist when possible; present training material and/or redaction training topics during all-staff meetings; create cover letters for correspondence with provider or other applicable parties; review possible incomplete Investigative Summary Reports (ISRs) and letters of determination (LODs) and reaching out to supervisors, as needed; assist with the process of dispatching case information to the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG); grant CAP extensions for delayed provider cases; complete records management and reconciliation duties; mail out closed Client cases to be received by the provider or applicable parties; other duties may require the proper handling of confidential information and the import/export of information from Client databases. Additional projects and duties may also be assigned, depending on emergent agency business need
