Roofing Laborer/Foreman
As The Roofing Laborer/Foreman for Kornerstone Roofing, your duties & responsibilities are as follows:
You must be an exceptional worker, and consider yourself the BEST at what you do! Highly experienced in installing all roofing materials, but most importantly shingle and metal roofs.
You must feel comfortable working independently at times by performing repairs for shingle & metal roofs.
You will be expected to work alongside your crew, as well, on a daily basis and lead them to successful job completions.
You must create a team atmosphere for your roofing crew at all times.
You will oversee your crew's work as you remove old roofing materials and install new roofing materials.
You are their point person; solving problems, overseeing their productivity and performance.
You will perform inspections when jobs are completed to ensure quality & safety standards are met.
Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Abilities:
The majority of the work performed by The Roofing Laborer/Foreman will be in the field, on the job site.
The Roofing Laborer/Foreman must be able to lift and move materials up to 70-80 lbs frequently.
Lifting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, balancing and carrying objects over uneven surfaces.
You must wear personal protective gear correctly and ensure your team is wearing protective gear as well.
Working Conditions:
Our busiest time of year is spring, summer and fall. Outside temperatures range from heat at 90 degrees plus to cold weather which may include temperature in the teens and rainy conditions.
Compensation:
Competitive salary offered. To be discussed during the interview process.
This is a full time position Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. Overtime pay is available.
