Position: Bartender/Server
Compensation: $10/hr + tips
Location: The Merc, 430 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY
Supervisor: This position reports to the FOH manager
Job Summary: To effectively work both bar stations/all dining room sections, and give excellent service to all guests
Major Functions:
Taking care of guests, understanding they are the reason we open our doors
Always being mindful of food/drink/guests
Adhering to service protocols
Other Functions:
Maintaining a can do attitude no matter the situation
Keeping a clear open line of communication with management
Required Skills:
Knowledge of cocktail making and ability to learn
General understanding of Health Dept rules, regulations and safety
Ability to keep cool under stress, be humble, flexible and maintain professional conduct
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for duration of a shift
Ability to effectively communicate to both management and co-workers
Ability to learn and effectively run all stations/sections
Qualifications:
Min 2 year of bar/service experience preferred
Passionate about food, drink and service life and learning every day
Happy, friendly, confident and fun to be around
