We are hiring a Quality Control Assistant for a leading food production facility in Hudson, NY, specializing in meat processing, sausage making, and ready-to-eat meals. What You’ll Do:
Perform daily audits ensuring compliance with cGMP and PPE standards
Maintain accurate production logs, including cooking, cooling, and packaging processes
Calibrate thermometers and ensure equipment is properly certified
Lead HACCP Plan implementation and monitor food safety protocols
Inspect receiving processes and monitor product temperatures
Conduct facility cleanliness audits and oversee food defense measures
Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Engineering teams on continuous improvement
Serve as liaison with USDA, FDA, and other regulatory agencies
What You’ll Bring:
3–5 years of experience in a QC or QA role within food manufacturing
HACCP Certification (required)
Experience with meat, sausage, or ready-to-eat meal production
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and audit practices
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
